Caramel Apple Pie Oatmeal


Yes, I love apple pie so much I turned it into an oatmeal for breakfast! Drizzled with caramel, it's a stick to your ribs kind of breakfast that won't leave you hungry.

Bob’s Red Mill Organic Scottish Oatmeal : 567 g / 20 oz package
Bové Whole Organic Milk : 2 bottles- 32 fl oz
Sugar : 4 oz
Cinnamon : 2 oz
Butter : 1 stick
St. Dalfour Bitter Orange Marmelade 100% Fruit : 227 g / 8 oz jar
Thomas English Muffins : 8 Muffins

In a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add apple and cinnamon and stir, cooking until soft and golden, about 6 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan over high heat, bring milk to a boil. Stir in oats and salt, reduce heat to low, and simmer until oats are tender and creamy, 5 minutes.
Stir in cooked apples and brown sugar. Serve in a bowl drizzled with caramel.
